The spelling contest was en- tered into with much interest. The sixth grade contestspell- ers were J. C. Rosenbek and Jimmy Ybarra, Sharon Widd ifield ,James Witt, J.C. Rosenbek, Judy Cline, Bernice DeGrado, and Jimmy Ybarra w e r e the best spellers of the year. The sixth grade class sold one hundred and ninety dollars worth of magazines.
