The freshmen volleyball team finished the season with a 2-4 record. The victories may not have been against their opponents but within themselves. Each player was valuable experience able to gain through their opportunities to play. Dedication Rewards All Fourteen juniors and sophomores made up lhe 1984-85 Reserve Volleyball team. Hard work and dedication led to a successful season. The Chants finished the season with a 441 record. Both Teams Excel!!! Both of the junior high Lady Chant volleyball teams experienced successful seasons. The seventh grade team finished with a 3-1 record and the eighth grade team with a 2-2 record. The seventh grade team showed consistent improvement throughout the season and had a number of line servers, The eighth grade team demonstrated very good skills in bumping and setting the ball. l look for good things to happen to this group and there is a great deal of talent if these girls have the desire to work hard to better themselves, said Coach Jan Weber.
