This year the senior class was fortunate to host a foreign exchange student. Her name was Christina Kasvi and her natural home is in Finland. Christina stated This has been the shortest and best school year. She also learn- ed what American High SchooI is all about. She fell in love with the cornchips, nachos, cor- nbread, pumpkin pie, and pizza. She feels like she became a true Nebraskan cornted girl! I honestly believe that I made my best friends here and that's why leaving you was so dit- ficult. I especially want to remember Kim, Scott, Tiffany, Dennis, Bruce, Dahn, and Kris for excepting me as an 'added sister' and help- ing me in different situations. Thus past year was filled with a couple of pep rallies here and there lt was heard around the halls that at was because ot the cheerleaders but actually they had nothing to say about the amount of time they recelv ed The FHA pep rally finished off the FHA week of activities, Mr. Steele was awarded with the SEXIEST LEGS of OHS. Another pep rally was dedicated to the Cross- Country teams for making it to state for the first time ever. The Chamber of Commerce held one for the varsity girls' basketball team before they attended the state tourna- ment, An assembly was held in the spring by Jim Post who talked about life in the prison.
