This was the first time that the players were given a chance to participate in an organized team sport. Each touchdown was a sure sign of im- provement forthe team individuals. There were thirty-six who par- ticipated in the 1984-85 Junior High football team. With the help of Head Coach Lon Bartholomew and Assis- tant Coach Fred Williams, the team worked extremely hard throughout the season, and Mr. Bartholomew was very pleased with the overall ef- fort of the team. They finished with a 2-3 season. As the season pro- gressed each player improved his skills, and the team became more competitive, said Bartholomew. Troy Kokes and Billy Pesek struggle to tackle their opponent. Eric Edzards breaks through to make a long gain as Chadd Murray looks on.
