Chants Kick Ctt to You The Varsity Chants did well throughout the 1984-85 season, under the supervision of Head Coach Dave Shrader and Assistant Coach Carl Streeter. The Chants finished with a 5-4 record being defeated by Aurora, Central City, Albion, and Grand Island Northwest. Tony Quattrocchi, Kevin Csentowski, and Craig Erikson were all honored by the Omaha World Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star as Class B All Staters. Craig Erikson and Kevin Osentowski l were also granted an All Con- C ference Honorable Mention. Brad Novosad and Brian Sich are determined that they will tackle their Columbus Lakeview opponents. Season Ends With Excitement Back Row: Joel Petersen, Brent Turek, Sean Stretf, Russ Ostrander, Kerry Kremke, Tim Miller, Chris Smedra, Tom Martens, Sonny Plugge, Brian Scherbarth, Front Row: Coach Steele, Tom Krolikowski, Clint Ellingson, Brian Welniak, Berry Geweke, Richard Flies, Brent Warner, Brant Dowse. Under the direction of Clayton Steele, the reserve football team finished with a 3-3 record as they beat Albion, St. Paul, and Broken Bow. The final game that they played was with O'Neill, which featured two overtimes and was very exciting for the players, coaches, and fans. The reserves gained valuable ex- perience with the reserve games, and this experience should pay off-dividends as they move into varsity games next year and years following said Coach Steele.
