SWE E The theme BACK IN TIME brought a great success to the l987-88 Orange Glen homecoming, After our floats were can- celled last year, this year's class came back better than ever. The first place senior float dazzled the crowd with the cavemen and women of Prehistoric times. The junior float, the Medieval times, consisted of a king and queen, and a castle, The sophomore class had Greek and Roman times. Their float showed creativity with the Parthenon in the background and everyone running around in togas. Unfortunately the freshmen did not have a float this year. The pregame ceremonies started with a tour of the floats. The homecoming court was following and they were driven up in classical cars. Then there was the crowning of the l987-88 king and queen, and as the lights went down we had a tremendous fire- work display. By this time the crowd was really pepped up and excited for the big game against Madison, which Orange Glen won 22-ld The next night was the homecoming dance. A.S.B. had done a great job with the decorations, and the music was by After Dark. There was a big turnout for the dance and with everyone really excited it was one of the best homecoming dances ever. Last year's Prince Mike Standel and Queen Stacie Smith leave the field holding the crown bearers on their lap. V , -AVV The cheerleaders with the alumni cheer- leaders FIRE UP as they get ready for the homecoming game. Sophomores Deidra Buddin, Jennifer Bella- my, Holly Deye, and others make some last minute touch ups to their float right before the ceremonies start.
