lf there is one thing that is not the same at Orange Glen High School, it is fashion. People dress up to their personalities, to be like their roll models, or the way they want to. Just by looking around the campus, all the classes dress differently in style, color, and all-around appearance. We begin with our basic jock and trendie group, and move on to our mods, preppies, surfers, wanna-be's, rockers, and freshmen wear. Some people prefer to dress up while others would rather wear T-shirts and sweaters, but it is mainly up to the individuals mood. lf some- one wakes up in a bad mood or did not have enough sleep, it is straight to the casual, com- fortable clothes. On the other side, if they wake up happy and ready to go, then out appears the nicer outlook. For the freshmen, the guys don't want to over do it and dress too noticible because they know it will be trashcan time for them, The girls like to dress up to impress the upper- ClassMEN. The sophomores become confident and be- gin to experiment with various fashion styles. They probably change their fashion look about two to three times within the year. By now the juniors know exactly how they want to dress, and their not worried whether people like it or not. There is definitely no other word for the seniors than, HKICKBACKH' Their attitudes are just to be comfortable at school. They have their own reason on why they wear, what they wear. By far, the best fashion is to dress the way you want to. Being able to be yourself in the clothes you wear is what people at OG. choose today. is 1 3 'ss ,fs ,N , A B C Brent Golec, Corey Verner, Chad Verner, Eric Fitsgerald, Damien lVlcGervey, and Mike Golec, show us what the True Surfer is really like. This year a new age in cars was seen out in the student parking lot. They ranged anywhere from huge tuna boats like Ford station wagonsg to V.W. things and Toyota 4X4'sg to brand new Chevy Sprints. Some were actu- ally their parent's cars, others were bought by their parents, but most were those that belonged to students who worked long and hard hours in order to pay for them. Days and weeks were spent working on, fixing up, rais- ing, and lowering these cars so that they could be shown off on Friday and Saturday nights out on Valley Parkwayg and after school to all the freshmen who weren't able to drive yet.
