Whenever you think about high school, the first thing that usually comes to mind are the times you shared with your friends, good or bad. Whether it was the time you ditched school to go to the beach, or went shopping at the mall, or the times you stopped speaking to each other because of the littlest of things. These were the ups and downs that came with the friendships made during high school. A friend was one who you relied on and didn't have to worry about being let down because they always managed to come through in the end. Whenever you felt like giving up, someone was there to give you that extra boost needed to get through the rest of the day. When you were down in the dumps, a friend lent you their shoulder upon which to cry. During those times when you exper- ienced the time of your life, it was most likely that a friend was somewhere near- by. And when you denied them of your friendship, they were always waiting for your forgiveness.
