he week before Homecoming, known as SPIRIT WEEK, is five days of dressing up and having fun. To start off the week on Monday, ancient Greece was brought to the 80's-Toga day. Toga day had the least response, but was alot of fun for those who wore their sheets to school. With Tuesday came the mobsters with hats, furs, jewels, and machine guns. Some of the more creative students came as mafia targets, car- rying anti-mob signs and wearing holey, blood- Q. Hey, Let's Hear it, We've Got Spirit! stained shirts. On Wednesday-NERDS! NERDS! NERDS! Everywhere you looked they were there, with their backpacks, bandaged knees, and broken glasses. Nerd day had the best response tor maybe everyone always dresses that way all the timely At any rate, it was the most fun. Halloween fell on Thursday and it also brought a great response from students. The campus was filled with witches, Rambos, Tarzans and lanes, and even cheerleaders. Friday was the Traditional red-white-and-blue Day. b li' ki Yam 'I , . arp: ,F , ' L . day. The day brought a patriotic end to the week and got everyone up for the big Home- coming game against Fallbroolr. Throughout the week, during lunch, class competitions were held to help determine which class had the most spirit. Seniors blew away the fresh- men and sophomores, and eased by the fired- up juniors to come out in first place, as usual. SENIORS RULE!
