Swiderski (Manaopri With eight returning lettermen from a strong .last year ' s squad, Coach Wendell Picken ' s 1959 baseballers sported a nine won, three loss record as of March 21. Returning hurlers Gary Green and Wally Wasinack led the Orange Coast pitching attack. At press time, Larry Avants led all batters with a .370 overage. John Loyd, Don Sears, and Bud Thompson were also swinging big bats for the Pirates.
