Two of the most active Pirates in student affairs were Marshall Sullivan, director of activities, and Dave Grant, pep com- missioner. Activities distinguished by their fine hands were the Fall Barbeque, Homecoming, the various dances. Pirate Day, and the Prom. Dave was especially instrumental in setting up the card stunts at home football games. The Fac- ulty vs. Student Council basketball game was his brain-child.
