The Beat Goes On The stage band carried on the beat with their many activities, they promoted spirit at the home basketball games. The crowds always cheered more when the stage band was there with their music filling the gym. They purchased navy sweaters with ' Stage Band ' and their in- strument sewn on in red thread which gave them a professional look. The stage band performed at the ' Miss Blount County Pag- eant ' suppling entertainment and background music. They were asked to perform at a charity basketball game sponsored by the Oneonta po- lice and WYDE radio station. With all their involvement, the stage band proved to be a real to this school.
