— -t Susan 1 Second Al J 0 After four days of beautiful sunny weather, the rain arrived just in time for Oneonta ' s homecoming festivities. However, Redskin spirits refused to be dampened, and the parade pro- ceeded as scheduled with only clouds overhead. The highlight of the parade was the senior float featuring a huge headdress of white tissue feathers. The band was done in silver tissue flowers highlighted with red and blue. Because of this beautiful effort, :. the judges gave the senior class an honorary grand prize. Lisa i| O ' Rear was crowned Miss Homecoming during hatftlme Her escort ; ' was Tim Gargus. Linda Cornelius, escorted by Joey Childress, was first alternate. Susan Faust, escorted by Kip Cornelius, was second alternate.
