The Science Club is the most active club at Oneonta High School. The club ' s goal is to activate interest among students in scientific fields. Sub- divisions include the Medical Careers Club and the High School Gardeners. The club holds monthly meetings and sponsors several projects throughout the year. This year some of the projects included the donating of showcases to the library, operating the concession stand at foot- ball games, selling peanuts at basketball games, and sponsoring the annual science fair. The judges reported that the science fair this year was one of the best science fairs they had ever seen. The highlight of the year for the club members and science fair winners was the Science Club banquet where science fair winners were presented cash prizes for their projects. , Greg Wimpee, Mike Tipton, and Ricky Tolbert study the growth of plants and record their changes.
