Redskins Honored at Banquet Bob Bryant, Senior tailback, is shown above receiving the best back award at the football banquet where he was also named a permanent team captain. In addition to these honors, Bob was on the Post Herald All State First Team; received Birmingham News All State Honorable Mention; and was named Post Herald Back of the Week, Guard, Danny Phillips, receives the Best Lineman award. 18 Bob Bryant, Steve Stewart, Noah Miller, Danny Phillips, and Don Kelly were chosen by the Blount County coaches to be on the All-County Football Team.

Noah Dean Miller receives the Rotary Club Scholastic Award from the club ' s president, Lee Hanson. Noah Dean was also chosen permanent team captain. The Birmingham News and the Birmingham Post Herald both chose Noah Dean to be on their all-state teams. Many members of the faculty attended the banquet.
