H. S. The name, Tau Theta Sigma, is the Greek letters for the intials of its motto, Truth Through Science. The science club sponsored all entries to the Senior High Science Fair in April. A charter membership of twenty was enlarged in March with its first initiation. One of its first activities was an all-day trip to Redstone Arsenal where the club was con- ducted on a guided tour. The science club was formed basically as an active club, one that would learn by doing and seeing rather than by hearing about scientific developments.
