Wa- The purpose of the Hi-Y is to create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and community high standards of Christian character. Our goal this year has been to establish a Christian atmosphere at school. The projects we have sponsored to fulfill this goal are: a blessing each day before lunch in each class, a clean lunchroom campaign, morning watch once a week before school, and an appropriate devotion in assembly. This has been the first year O. H. S. has had a Hi-Y Club. We feel that the school and its students have benefited from this organization, and we hope that each year's members will strive to reach the ideals of the organization, FIRST ROW: Faye Moody, Barbara Hamrick, Glenda Clowdus, Marilyn Swann, Andree White, Sandra Lowery, Jean Tolbert, Linda Massey, Elizabeth Gartrell, Shirley Chandler, Sue Hallman, Lucille Griffin, Barbara Price, and Joyce Corvin.
