Junior Class lf? They make it the loveliest float '? ' Senior I--First Prize HOMECOMING The Student Council sponsors our annual homecoming. Home- coming at Oneonta High is one of the highlights of the year. Prepara- tion begins about two weeks before the big day when each class begins to build its float to compete in the homecoming parade. This year the Sophomore Class won first prize and the Freshman Class won second prize. Junior III Second Prize Homecoming begins with a big pep rally in the morning, followed by the parade in the afternoon, and climaxed by the homecoming foot- ball game that night. The Queen, with her attendants, reigns during the parade and is pre- sented at half-time at the game. The Homecoming Queen of 1960, was Miss Ginger Ingram, her attend- ants were Miss Carol Smith and Miss Ruth Kitchens.
