None other than La Verne McCaine I the stands, as spectators, I saw many old friends Among then were Mr., and Mrs Frank Matthews I guess Margaret McNeil finally hooked Frank I also saw Mary Lea Estridge and Bill Stowe who are now happily married with two children which they have nick named Shorty and Slim Trying to corral her su: boys was Mrs Richard Wainwright, the former Margaret Renfros Later I witnessed a volleyball game with Mable Stayton, Helen Schmide, Pauline Ligon, Caroline Klenk, Reta Faye Hammond and Marie Hann as star players From New York I went to Chicago and visited some of the night spots Virginia Brasher was playing hot tunes for Bobbie Lou Morgan, Jimmie Lou Wainscott, and Ruthell Stewart who were trying desperately to bring back Jitterbugging The 'Ritzy was featuring Iris Doyle and her all boy orchestra among whom were Joe Carpenter, Jim Crownover, Sylvan Newman In the 1n tellectual circles, I heard Faye Ernest lecture, who is a missionary of furlough from Chinas At Washington, Leola Winkler, Pauline Watson, and Violet Van Hemert are employed as civil service typistss I happened to see Arlene Jackson who is now national Home Demonstration agents I had dinner with Robert Baker who is new a senators Traveling from Washington to Reno I happened to switch on my radio and who do you think was advertising Welch Grape Juice for reducing., None other than Monroe Billingsley In Reno I ran into the champion Snooker players there, Jerry Nore and Marvin Williamss At a corner Drug, Tot Mahan, a soda skeet, and Mozell Boswell, a car hop, were doing land office' busi- ness. Suing Will Morris Hannis for divorce was Mary Lynn Brouthertin. Sunny Wright is waiting for Red, and Juanita Potts is still writing letters to the anny.
