The season was long and hard, but we en- joyed every mlnute of it. We wlll always have the memories of the personal satisfac- tion and the achievements. There were the thrills of our victories and the agony of our defeats. Little things meant a lot to us, llke running a good race, a good hand off, or breaking a school record, or your own. Track was a challenge, maybe thats what made lt so exciting. Our coach made everything have a mean- ing and gave lt all a purpose. At times we felt like hanging it up, but when it was all over we had a klnd of lnner pride ln know- Ing what we had accomplished.
