Z Wild West captures OCC students Taking advantage of a month long break in regulations, many beards sprouted among the regularly clean- shaven faces of OCC men, The first signs of afternoon shadow marked the beginning of the race for Mr, Beard, which ended on Western Day. Awards given included Best Dressed Cowboy and Cowgirl, and Cattle Baron. Hugo McCord, decked out in his usual style, won his Best Dressed Faculty award. Gt course, Western Day really ended several days after the presentation of awards, when Campus Life finally rounded up the last reluctant beards.
