Gaylord Chair '77-'78 awarded to Burcham Ralph Burcham accepted the honor of the Gaylor Chair of Distinguished Teaching this year. He and the others of the Business Division instructed the largest number of majors in any divi- sion. Adding a new major in Office Management and independent studies in medical and legal secretarial work, the division grew to look forward to a new business building. Q-gy Stamper retires after 17 years of teaching Dr. O. B. Stamper retired following this school year after teaching at OCC for 17 years. The division received for- mal reaccreditation by the State Depart- ment of Education and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. the Special Education pro- gram had its first graduates this year. RETIRING at the close of the year, O. B. Stamper, Professor of Education, meets some of his final students.
