Dean of Campus Life takes on many roles Dr. Richard Mock, Dean of Campus Life completed his third year as the of- ficial bridge between the students and the administration. Dr. Mock performed the roles of administrator, counselor and teacher while maintaining overall supervision of the Campus Life Office, and attempting to create a Christian at- mosphere for OCC students. With curriculum also a part of his responsibility, Dr. McBride added several new courses to the schedule. McBride sponsored the Aerie and Alpha Chi, national honorary society. Dean of Admissions Smith in 10th year In his tenth year at OCC, Bob Smith served as Dean of Admissions and directed all areas of recruitment for the college. He also served in the capacity of Registrar, maintaining all records of students from their application till their graduation, including registration, counselling records, transcriptions, and permanent records. TOURING the Media Center, visitors and prospective students listen to Dean Smith.
