Varied responsibilities for Executive VP North With ever increasing construction, Executive Vice President Stafford North became coordinator between the college, builder, and architect for the new buildings. He served on the State Regents in evaluating new colleges for accreditation, along with his duties of coordinating all internal campus affairs. Other projects included writing textbooks and teaching classes. SECRETARY to Dr. North, Norma Thomas maintains the office in Gaylord Hall. With curriculum also a part of his responsibility, Dr. McBride added several new courses to the schedule. McBride sponsored the Aerie and Alpha Chi, national honorary society.
