Mc 22 aa -ng ,-mtl--1 ' Volleyball team posts winning record, 12-9 OCC Womenls Volleyball started the season late but the young team still managed to post a winning record of 12-9. Mrs. Laura Beth Jobe returned as head coach and watched the team make rapid progress from the first game in the Bethany'Tournament until losing in the State Tournament action. The team consisted of Franna Tate, Kim Ell ington, Cherly Alcorn, Denise Whitaker, Janet Smith, Pat Bailey, Sue Kidd, Suzie Bruce, Lorna Shepherd and Nancy Kinley. Gathering around the other team, the girls con gratulate each other on a fine game.

The program, under the direction of Tommy Heath, provided students with a break from studying as well as pro- moting unity within and between the clubs. From the beginning of the football and softball games, through the end of the track meet, the intramural program revealed competitive athletics and sportsmanship combined with a Chris- tian environment.
