OCC linksmen enjoy competitive season The OCC Golf team began the Season with a young team but ended with a strong showing in the Central State Invitational. Coach Jerry Jobe returned as head coach for his third year and guided the team through the inter- collegiate meet at Shawnee and the CSU meet at Kickingbird. Lady Eagles capture fourth in state play The 1977-78 Women's Basketball team started the season with ten new freshmen and a new head coach but still managed to post a winning record of 14-11 against a tough schedule. Coach Max Dobson guided the Lady Eagles to a fourth place finish in the State Tourna- ment and qualified for the Regional Tournament in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, but elected not to go.
