Row 2: Levell Pollard, Randy KOCC Student's Top Station in Carrel KOCC, located at 850 on the dial, gave Mass Communication majors practice in broadcasting. This year KOCC spon- sored a top 10 list. Students voted for their three favorites each week. KOCC gave away free T-shirts, and sold others. This was KOCC's last year of broadcasting from the Learning Center. Next year they move to the Fine Arts Building.

Aerie staff has true dedication to book Working on the Aerie staff requires dedication and hard work to manufac- ture a really good yearbook. This year this dedication was put to the test by Rhonda LalVlascus, who spent part of her honeymoon writing copy. Work began in September with editor, Sue Alexander, teaching a class on how to write copy, crop pictures, and make layouts. Debate Team on Road To Win Speech Honors The Debate Team traveled to Speech tournaments in Kentucky, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Colorado. They placed fifth in the National Junior Divi- sion Debate Tournament, qualified two people for the Nationals in individual events, and won about fifteen trophies. A comparatively young team, com- posed mainly of freshmen, the Debate Team gained tournament experience for next year. Angela Laird sponsored the Debate Team. DEBATE: Richard Ellis, LuEIlen Sexton.
