All chemistry students start out with general courses dealing with the principles of chemistry, with the more important metals and non-metals and with qualita- tive analysis. After these preparatory courses are completed the student can take more specialized material covering such topics as advanced qualitative and quan- titative analysis; organic chemistry; in- frared, visible and invisible spectrophoto- metries, and physical chemistry.
