He left in January to become Dean of Men at Marshall College. Mytin H. Ross was appointed to tatce over his position as Assistant Dean of Men. When Mr. Ross was an undergraduate, he was a member of the Council of Fraternity Presidents. I Donald Schroeter serves as advisor to Civitas and COMO. Don was active at the University of Cincinnati as an undergraduate. He is a fine organizer and has done an excellent job. Vvittiam Allen works with the Social Board and maintains the register of student organizations. He was a member of Sphinx and Secretary ot Fraternity Affairs before the war. After receiving his master's degree in March, he left for a job in New York. Miss Barbara Boughton is the Auditor of Student Organizations and advises sororities, fraternities, and campus organizations on financial pro- cedures. She is memher of Mortar Board. tvtytin H. Christine Yerges Conaway. She was ap- pointed to her ati-important position in February, 1944. Prior to this ap- pointment, she was assistant to the dean of the Arts College, and in 1942 hecame the acting secretary of that coiiege. Since 1937, ivirs. Conaway has served as executive secretary of the Qhio State Biotheris Association. These county ciuhs meet' regularly to discuss university affairs. The position of Dean of Women carries with it many full time respon- siipiiities. The principal tasic is that of student advisor. To Nlrs. Conaway women students may turing their personal and schoiastic prohiems and in friendly and frank discussions they may their soiution. in addition to her duties as head of the staff of the dean's office, Mrs. Conaway serves as advisor for many other university activities, such as VVSGA, Alpha Lamhda Delta, and Theta Sigma Phi.
