' 'T A -' An Entertalmng Week As Many Get Thezr Own Ideas About WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF he campus was buzzing as Homecoming week and its many activities came upon us. Many were busily making banners for Monday's l'Banner Day and Added Attraction provided entertainment during the ice cream social. The Ap- athy Busters amused an anti-apathy crowd on Tuesday, while Wednesday, it was Club Holiday's tum to provide the entertainment as they rocked many ONU students with their concert in the ballroom. Wednesday also marked the start of the voting for the king and queen. Thursday, the Homecoming skits fea- tured the rapping talents of all the candidates. Friday kicked off with the annual Pushmobile Races. As dark- ness descended, torches provided light for the Torchlight Parade and the bonfire pep rally which kfollowed. There, the Homecoming court of Me- linda Durbin fBrookhartJ, Shelley Ev- ans QDZD, Erin McLaughlin QAZDJ, Pre- mala Wilson fltappa Phil, Rachel Hunter CAOPU, Bruce LeMaster fParkl, Hiram Lynch ikobertsl, Darren Scott tlioundersl, Jim Taylor QPMDJ and John Weidling fPhi Kapsl was an- nounced. Afterwards, many pulled all- nighters trying to assemble their floats for the biggest and best Home- coming parade ever. Many alumni poured in to help fill the stadium to capacity while attending the football game ONU hosted with Mt. Union. During half-time, Shelley Evans and Hiram Lynch were an- nounced as Queen and King. The week was capped off with the Home- coming Dance held Saturday night.
