Class Prophecy By Bruce Bolenbaugh My mind whirled crazily as I struggled to regain consciousness. How had I gotten like this? Where was 17 Suddenly, I heiurd a calm voice reassuring me that everything was all right. Just as suddenly I recalled the whole thing: how I ' d volunteered to test Freez-sleep, how I ' d been prepared, then injected with the preservation which would suspend aging for 25 years. Now I was awake, like a 21st century Rip Van Winkle, and Just about as confused, I stayed for a week to recover from the sleep, and the director of the hospital came in. Suppose you ' ll want to look up some old friends of yours, won ' t you? Well, here ' s your file. Help yourself. And here ' s the money you deposited, and some new clothes. Call if you need me. Thanking him, I got in one of the hover-taxis waiting outside. A small sign on the inside of the taxi caught my eye: Serviced by Str awn-Pet itt- Tribolet Corp., 1011358. He very graciously invited me to go see some other class members living in the city. I consented gladly. Tom said that business was booming, and the bank was going great, especially since Neila Prichard was comptroller.
