These faithful directors have been with us since the day we began our training in nineteen hundred and forty three for the play This Was Our Year. In nineteen hundred and forty four we remember Mrs. Smalley for the attention she gave each one individually. She gave us the confidence we needed to guide us through the remaining years. We remember Mrs. Putman teaching us to be neat by repeating the little poem about keeping our desks tidy, the little houses we live in every day. Mrs. Emerick always told us we were the best class in the whole school and we could go places if we tried. All of these have helped to spur our class to realize our motto In Our- selves Our Future Lies.
