We started our journey through high school with twenty-five eager freshmen. It wasn't long until one of our girls, Margaret Fenton, left us. We bade her farewell and she was off. A little later, we thought we saw something new and found that it was a new girl, Mary Mar- garet Adelblue, We were all sorry that our advisor, Mr. Jenkins, left us, but we got started again with Mr. Green as our advisor. Next we chose our leaders which were: Boss -- Jerry Whiteg Straw Boss -- Ellen Sturnpg Banker -- Patty Brubaker, Secretary -- Belle Bighamg Red Cross -- Rhea Boroff and Bill Stutzg and last and least Historians -- Roberta Long and Marji Edwards. Then came cheerleader try-outs. From the four girls who tried out, Roberta Long was chosen. And finally came the dreadful day of our initiation. Boy, were we scared! -- Nothing happened. Next was the election for carnival king and queen. Our candidates were Jerry White and Patty Brubaker. We were glad to hear that Patty was chosen queen for the carnival. So endsour first year. If Fate is kind, we will return next fall. FIRST ROW: June Carr, Marjiann Edwards, Bill Stutz, Charles Rice, Jack Tribolet, Lee Pontsler, Bob Williams, Belle Bigham.
