Miss Phyllis Ann Wallace has just returned to Paris, where she is study- ing designs for Shirley's Shoppe. Miss Elizabeth Croy, who is tour- ing the country, gave her famous lec- ture, Why IDo Not Trust Men, for the Culture Club last night. COURT NEWS C. Patrick Brubaker, prominent lawyer, has been chosen Virginia Hurless-Huggemier-Hankoat's private attorney-at-law to take care of her many matrimonial affairs. fSocietyl The former Lola Eibling and her husband are celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary. SPORTS Art McConn, just chosen Big Ten Coach of the year, is very proud of his team, the Flying Comets. Art is very sorry to lose his masseur, David Doan. Dave, having hit the jackpot on a quiz show, is going to Arabia, where he has won a harem of nine wives. BETTY'S COOKIE SHOP They're good, Ask Don. SPECIAL MENTION Navy Dr. J. D. Putman, has just performed a marvelous operation with the capable assistance of Navy Nurse, Bonnie Bigham.
