On my way to Spain I heard the radio program given by Lowell Thomas' successor, John Ellinger His news included some interesting events. Doris Kline heiress, was on her way to Reno to secure a divorce. The world's greatest scientists, Charles Hablitzel and Willard Simon had just dis covered a new element of the air. Bob Pennell, wealthy young playboy was being sued for breach of promist by a chorus girl. In S,ain I saw Gladys Hoffman who is a re- porter fer the New York Chronicle. Soon I re- turned to the United States. Before returning home I visited Detroit, Michigan. Here I saw Dorothy Rhodes who is a nurse in the Memorial Hospital. I also saw Carl Ramsey who is the owner of the Detroit Star newspaper. ine of the items in Carl's paper concerned the return of Gov. George Cowgill from his campaign tour. I scarcely recognized Ohio City when I got there for it was quite large. In n little barber shop which some one told me was owned by Bob Agler, I saw Mr. and Arthur Jr. Bob was hair and what a time he The next persons I now Mrs. Grant, and her to town to shop.
