But this was interrupted by a violent wind storm which kept our plane flying dizzily about in the sky. ' As we started on the last part oi our journ ey, we found that we had only twentyueight pa gers on board our plane. Since we started four years ago, nine of our cabin mates had parted for other things of interest.A This was the final hop and we were determined to make it the most succes ful and worthwhile part of our whole journey which had taken four whole years to com lets. We chose Charles Hablitzel as our Eilot, and Miss Straw as our tutor. We wanted the most ex- perienced people to guide us in the last year of our grand adventure. Several of our passengers were dissatisfied with our motto, class flower, and colors, so we decided that it would be better to change them. For our motto we chose one that corresponded with the name of our Elena. It was nThe Door to Sue- Q cess is Labeled USHLV For our cabin colors we H chose green and goldf our class flower, the yellow W roses H This year we began a job which had been neg- Q lectcd five years ago-that of making an annual. It H is not as elaborate as those constructed in the W past, but we hope it will be a credit to our schoo Q Many hours of hard, honest labor were spent on its M construction. W As the Senior year draws to a close, we the H Senior class of 1937, wish to thank the facualty N and those who helped make our education possible. J We appreciate the long hours of patient instruc- 3 tion they have given us.
