Superintendent of School A. A. Kaskadden, the trail
boss who looked ahead in Search of possible danger and
forewarned us. He drew the map, and we followed his
chosen course, to our advantage - inspired us to go on
when our morale was low - never faltering - always
willing to help lead us on to our final goal.
Fmma Lou Schoentag, log-keeper on the trail and
general right arm to the trail boss. Pretty, efficient, and
the "girl-on-the-line" who saw to it that supplies were
ordered and the records kept straight. She capably filled
an indispensable position.

The Annual Staff, along with the rest of the Senior
section of the train, leaves its place in the O.H.S. caravan
to strike out into the great beyond. We, the staff, take
this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation
"along the trail"- the greenhands will find the trail
rugged and dusty in a vast wilderness of learning, but,
like us, find the crossroads will come too soon. The
script is written, the pictures taken, we're ready to go to
press - the job of the Annual Staff as caravan chronic-
lers is completed, but it is up to you to keep alive the
traditions that we, the forty-niners, have left to you.
