COASTLINE REGIONAL OCCUPATIONAL PROGRAM Students for Hire Education Coastline Regional Oc- cupational Program lCFlOPl offers that opportunity to the students not only at Ocean View High School, but in high schools in the five participating school districts. CROP Of- fers Commercial Art lphotographyl, Word Processing and Health Occupations on campus at this time. Classes meet at both business and industry sites as well as local high schools. After basic classroom meet instruction, on-the- job training is provided in most classes. This gives the stu- dent an on-hand experience in that the feild of training and in this way we can help you up-date or up-grade your ex- isting skills, learn a new field, while earning elective credits towards your high school diploma. This is a no lose situation and just some of the benefits include: ' On-the-job training for saleable job skills 'Job seeking skills like how to fill out an application and how to survive an interview with grace ' Letters of recommendation for students who do excep- tionally well in the class and a certificate of completion for all who complete the class. Things like: food collection for the poor during Christmas, fund raising, donations to the poor in Mexico, and helping with the MUN. But it's not so much the giving to peo- ple but also knowing that you did something good that gives you a special feeling.
