Our high point in the season was shut- ting out Edison for a quarter, defeating Fountain Valley to win third place in our own tournament. They were led by their captains Jeff Bansford and Derek Brown and the play of Desi Hazely, Bret Johnson and Derek Brown. The future shines bright here at Ocean View with this group of players. The results of their work was never more evident then in the back to back wins by one point over Mater Dei Q49-48l and Fountain Valley 148-47l which was the highlight of the season. The two key players on the team were guard Eric Christopherson, and forward Doug Rice. Coach Wayne Young said, It was a pleasure to coach this team and I wish them all good luck in the future.
