Our high point in the season was shut- ting out Edison for a quarter, defeating Fountain Valley to win third place in our own tournament. They were led by their captains Jeff Bansford and Derek Brown and the play of Desi Hazely, Bret Johnson and Derek Brown. The future shines bright here at Ocean View with this group of players. The goals of the team were to win the Ocean View tournament, win 20 games and take league title, says coach Roger Holmes. All of our goals were reached. Highlights of the season were the 41 points poured in by Blaine DeBrower against Fountain Valley and the 104-62 trouncing of Edison.
