This year the Varsity and J.V. tennis players not only met their individual performance goals but they had several more victories than ever before. Junior Varsity placed fifth overall and Varsity finished in fourth place completing our most successful season yet. Coach Dar- nall said, I've never had a more enjoyable coaching season. These girls deserve a lot of credit for their hard work and dedication to the sport. All they need is a little experience, reported Coach Bill Boehlert. This year's squad had some highlighting performers including Jaimi Gibson and Stacy Goldstein - most valuable, Mara Wood- worth - most improved, and Lisa Sherry - most inspirational, who set the tone for the team. FROSHXSOPH GOES 13-0 TO WIN LEAGUE TITLE ln order to have a season such as this there are some key people required: Stacy Hunold - most valuable, Kristen Twedt - most improved, Kim Kufus - most in- spirational, and last, but certainly not least, their devoted leader, Coach Lila Farr. This year's team motto was THINK POSITIVE. lt is obvious that it worked. A message from Coach Farr, Keep up the good work. I love you all! Stay proud!
