Chuck loves to have a good time . . . fills empty hours hunt- ing, speeding, and attending the Center and parties . . . can't stand parked jeeps, traffic court, Chevys, or transmissions . . . can be found at Perott's speed shop, 13th and Locust, or the Drums . . . fondly re- members Newk's cycle, the summer of '61, Atco dragway, Phila., his drivers license, and Fat Jim. ALLEN RUSSELL REESE Ocean City Al Ambition: State Trooper Activities: Track. One member of our class who is simply crazy about things on wheels . . . spends his time, when not on his job, traveling, or working, on cars and motorcycles . . . fondly recollects September 16, 1961, as one out of many good times he has had . . . calls an automatic strike on anyone who smokes . . . at times he is at the Cen- ter or 314-0. EMMA RICHARDSON Ocean City Ginger Ambition: Housewife A happy individual who is friendly to everyone . . . Emma participates in the Y.P.D. Club . . . puttering around the house is her favorite occupation . . . peo- ple who show off head her list of dislikes . . . no matter what happens, Emma says she will never forget her very first date . . . if you need her, Emma may be hard to find, her home away from home is New York. EDWARD JOSEPH ROBERTS Ocean City Ed Ambition: Technician Activities: Civil Air Patrol This tall blonde member of our class is known for really being able to hold his own against older bowling counterparts . . . passes away any seconds of extra time at the Center . . . but if not there can al- ways be located at the bowling alley . . . really enjoyed his Senior Year in school . . . finds Fords with small eights up front hard to take. A newly added member of the class . . . loves to listen to records and the radio when she has nothing else to do . . . tak- ing excursions is another of her activities nothing bothers Merilee more than being disrespectful . . . you may find her, when she is not at home or at school, at 3rd and Wesley Ave .... a vacation in Ocean City will always be a fond memory. ROBERT FREDRICK ROSE Ocean City Bob Ambition: College Activities: All-State Chorus, Dramatics, Football, New Jersey Boys' State, A Cap- pella. Notable personality with a more notable voice . . . every one loves to hear him sing . . . finds much entertainment and spends much time talking on the phone . . . found frequenting the Center . . . a certain mon- itor causes him much consternation . . . Brown Eyes and his Senior Year are his favorite recollections.

This is one girl who really shines on the dance floor . . . she loves to dance and dances whenever rnusic's in the air . . . her particular favorite is the mashed potato ...likes to write to a certain boy . . . she's always somewhere in O.C., usually at the Center . . . is annoyed by those who spread malicious gossip . . . her favorite date was November 23, 1961. JOHN JAMES PALMER, JR. Tuckahoe Sonny Ambition: To be in the Olympics Activities: Track and Field. Big, burly, blond who loves nothing bet- ter than having fun . . . another off-shore class member . . . considers his home away from home wherever he happens to be . . . people who mess him up really head the list of his pet peeves . . . two periods is his life which John will always remember are the fall and summer of '61. RICHARD BRADLEY PERKINS Ocean City Rick Ambition.: Teacher, lnterpreter Activities: A Cappella, Chorus, Billows. A friendly guy with a knack for enjoy- ing himself . . . when there is nothing else doing Rick enjoys bowling and reading . . . stupid people are something he can't stand . . . a certain person's house and 114- Atlantic Avenue are Rick's homes away from home . . . those riotous Span- ish classes and August, 1961, are two things which will last forever in Rick's memory. CAROL JEAN PULLEN Ocean City Carol Ambition: To become a nurse Activities: Student Council, Girls' Sports. This Senior miss is well known for her dimples and her neatness . . . she can often be found bowling, dancing, or driving around . . . tries to avoid conceited peo- ple . . . her second home is the Center or Barb's house, where she finds a refuge from baby sitting . . . memories of the summer of 1961 and her Senior Year will linger forever. JANN INGRID RARIG Ocean City Jann Ambition: College abroad for a year. Activities: Senior Executive Committee, Girls' Sports. Her boisterous laugh resounds through the halls . . i. July 27, 1960, and the Junior Prom of 1961, her Junior and Sen- ior years, and the Girls will always be Pat's favorite memories . . . she will never acquire a desire for Hot Nuts. JUDITH ANN SHARP Ocean City Judy Ambition: Medical Secretary, Buyer or Manager Activities: Treasurer of Foreign Exchange Student. This popular Senior can be easily located if you are in the vicinity of the nurse's office or Stainton's Department Store . . . if ever in doubt, ask Judy for advice . . . the summer of '61, the Junior Fair, and the Prom will always remain outstanding in Judy's memory . . . dishonest people and class clowns do not settle very well with Judy. l07
