SENHUR HUNOR STUDENTS A good scholastic record on the high school level has always been important to the individual student. With the increasing competition for available places in the freshman classes of most colleges, it is likely to become even more important. Not only are more young people graduating from high school each year, but a greater percentage of graduates are wanting to enter college. As many colleges and universities will be unable to expand their facilities rapidly enough to take care of the increased de- mand, they will undoubtedly become more selective. This will tend to put more of a premium on a good high school record. Not only must the record be good, but the individual will be expected to be better educated than ever before. The students honored on this page rank in the top ten per cent of their graduating class. They are to be congratulated for the fine work which they have done to receive this high honor.
