ANOTHER DAY IFOR THE CLASS OF 19475 By Herbert Seavers I stood upon a hull and saw the sun arlse A herald for the sleepers I watched as the tree took off his covers And I watched as the river combed her halr I turned and watched so ever closely To see the grass ruse up out of bed I saw the ocean bug and deep Blllow up to tickle the land And chuckle as It went out Ole Gent Land rose up In bed Yawned and sand A new day has begun I watched the farmer wlth poll In hand Look off Into the wlde beyond I heard hlm say as I watched hlm there My them clty folks sure are dead I watched the mrlkman pull through the town And saw the belch from the smokestacks crown I turned my back to reflect upon What Id seen My but thus IS a wonderful world Thought I I heard a yawn and amazed at this I turned around to see what had happened e tree had his covers on e rlver her net e ocean refused to tackle Ole Gent Land O e Gent Land had lam back ID bed And with a yawn had said Another new day has ended Then I lustened so ever ever closely And heard the grass say My but this IS a wonderful world I I I I I ' ll II I I ' I I II ' II , .
