Girard SHAKESPEAREAN CON TESTANTS April 19 this term, six dra- ma students participated in the annual Shakespearean Cup Contest. They were Connie Kotord, lim Squire, Aura Sutton, Ted Gary, Betty Beisa, and Bruce Ferguson. The winners who had their names en- graved on the cup were Betty Beisa and Bruce Ferguson. TERM PLAY What a Life was pre- sented by the advanced drama classes May 10 un- der the direction of the new drama teacher, Mr. Girard. The cast was com- posed ot Ioe Haley in the part ot Henry Aldrich, Shir- ley Iardine as Barbara, Aura Sutton, Miss Shea, lim Squire, Mr. Bradley, Bob Christy, Mr. Nelson, Pat Harvey, Miss Wheeler. Also taking part in the play were Ted Gary, Genevieve Thomas, lohn Lavender, Bill Payne, Lorraine Glynn, Anne Sherwood, Margaret lones, Betty Smith, Albert Lewis, Priscilla McWill- iams, Enid Bergsman, Pat Horta, Geneava Katz, and Florence Montgomery.
