Under the direction of Miss Helen Wirt, the Oakland High School Play- makers presented Iames Barrie's 'lQuality Street. Witli Doris Thomas and Ken- neth Steinsapir in the leading roles and a cast which included Betty Thomas, Ed l-louser, Gary Torre, Karla Lew, Helen Hamilton, Mary Townsend, Maxine Smith, Ioan Ponsford, Becky Baer, Azella Marcatos, Marjorie Brown, George Youngdale, Wilbur Cooper, Richard Briggs, Kathleen Mcliibloen, Billy Harris, Paul Nielson, and Morton Barkar in speaking roles, as well as numerous extras, it was a very elaborate production.

l President Sponsor I Oakland High Schools newspaper, the Aegis, published each Friday, was this term under the editorship of Katherine Yoakum. Associate editors were Perrette Emge, Audine Allan, and Betty Lightsey. Virginia Harvey and Harvey 'Quin were feature editors, while Bill Bonneau was the sports editor. Bob Wallace ,directed distribution, Helen Andrews Was copy editor, and Bette Geary was newseditor. Staff artist was lack Grant, and exchange editor was Catherine Husing. I The Oaken Bucket, Oakland Highs second publication, was under the direc- tion of Audine Allan, editor, Dorothy Paine, associate editor, Cloyd Dawson, picture editor, Evelyn Arthur, iinancial director, and Bill loost, press agent.
