Two years laTer in IQ53-54 The Boys' Fieldhouse had iTs Turn aT improvemenT. The heaTing and venTilaTing planT was recondiTioned in l955- 56. NexT year, in l956-57, The Girls' Gym was modernized, and ThaT was The sTep beTore The Big STep oT rebuilding The INlorTh Wing, which required The passing oT a Bond Issue Tor Two million dollars. The NorTh Wing does noT represenT The end oT moderni zaTion aT The school, however. Even aT The DedicaTion cere- mony new needs were menTioned.
