People, places, and things —three broad nouns that de- termine the lives we will live and what we will be. All thtee have been a: part of every Senior's four years at’ Oak Lawn. In problems Sen- iors will encounter during the coming years, their past school life will play a major part in the decisions made, either because of plans made here, persons met here, or advise gathered here. There are many happy and nostal- gic memories which Seniors will take with them when they graduate —fond re- membrances of dates, games, meets, dances, teachers, and friends. Seniors will also leave’ something of them- selves to linger at Oak Lawn. The Senior star casts an ever widening ray of light leading from knowledge and understanding gained at Oak Lawn to even more of the same and, with it, a respon- sible adult life. JOHN P. STUDENTS The following four stars represent the students of O.L.C.H.S. Work and study, fun and good times, friends and activities are common to all of them. Many will meet success, and a few will meet failure. It is up to the individual to determine what advan- tange his school life will be used for, how it will benefit him, how it will affect his personal char- acter, and how it will determine his future. pore
