TEACHING MEANS INSTRUCTION TEACHElRS GIVE PERSONAL AT'TENTION TO STU DE NITS The primary task of the teacher is instruc- tion, that is, to impart to each student the particular skill or information :required by his class. This is done primarily on a class-wide basis, but time and opportunity are given in each class for personal supervision and attention by the teacher. Some students need more indi- vidual instruction than others just as some classes lend themselves more readily to this type of teaching. Wherever and whenever possible, the teacher gladly gives this individual attention. Mrs. Plate supervises Pat Fritz's work during a practice session in typing class. 27 MR.
