As tht guests entered 'ind found their places. 'i processionil was played hy the Misses Arlene Reinertson and Gloria Eldexik. Th banquet opened with 'i table prayer by Grace Britrud. As the program continued. David Vigesia. president ofthe junior class and toastrnaster gave 'i welcome. Marjorie Axvig played Nocturne by Leybaeh. A tribute to the flag and a poem, ' America for were given by Esther Melander. Gustav Stangeland, Darrel Berg, Arthur Torgerson, and Stanley Hjermstad played an instrumental quartette, Santa Lucia. A group of toasts centering around the theme Home was given by members ofthe junior class. The Hrst toast was Our Home by Shirley Holum. Liv Lundeby spoke on h'Our School Home . Marjorie Ann Johnson played uValse Opus 42 by Chopin. Following this Edward Nyhus gave Homes in Oth er Lands ack Hovden discussed In New Homes. The main speak fr, Coach Herman Olson, spoke on Our Heavenly Home. Hi: challenge, Have we played the game of life right that we shall gain the prize of a heavenly home. Emily Olson then sang O Lovely Night. LeRoy Moen gave a reading, Home , by James Russell Lowell. Before the closing song.
